Round-Up

When I was in Silver Lake, Oregon, a couple of years ago, traffic was stopped by a herd of cattle being moved down for their winter range. I took some photographs from the vehicle as I waited.

Using impressionism, simplifying the shapes as well as using colors I felt, rather than saw, this was the result with with oils on a masonite board

With my interest in computer painting, I took the same photograph and created a new look at the same subject.
