These daisies are in my garden and I have been admiring and thinking they might make an interesting painting.
The painting itself came out as U had hoped, an expressionistic look at garden daisies, but photographing it was harder. Actually photographing of oils never is easy for me. It seems the colors so often do not come out looking like the painting.
I don't want to just paint flowers even though my last three have been flowers. They happen to be what is there right now and where my desire is to use lots of color, they make that easy.
This one is another 8"x10" oil on stretched canvas. It was a lovely day to sit on the deck; but if I do more of these, I need to set up my easel out there as painting with small canvases on the ground or my lap is not ideal. Before I invest in anything more, however, I will make sure I am going to keep doing this.
