Opposite ends of the spectrum

Whenever I am with my granddaughter, because she is just entering puberty and I am entering old age, I find the juxtaposition of these two ends of the spectrum to be artistically interesting. This time we had a photo taken that didn't come out right. It was pixillated due to the lighting which led me to think of doing a digital painting of a grandmother and granddaughter who have in common their love and the approaching change in both their lives.
