I would like to think this painting is now finished but sometimes things come along that let me see one more thing that isn't right. I know I am much happier with it now than before.

I think the problem was it was competing for what was dominant in attention. There wasn't a circle that took you through the painting but a conflict over center of interest. Maybe that's resolved now... It would be nice to have a painting work from the get-go but they rarely do for me. To see its progression, go down the blogs to the one where it has the original photos that led to the original premise.

Update: Well it wasn't finished as that one corner to the right simply was too flat. I felt it drew the eye out of the painting rather than carrying it back up into the sky. Changing it wasn't as easy as going back into a finished painting rarely is but now I think it's right and done... hopefully.
